We are excited to announce the MENA Transport Congress & Exhibition scheduled to take place in Dubai from 23rd to 25th April, 2018. With a growing number of participants, technical offers, networking opportunities, and an extensive exhibition showcasing who’s who in the public transport industry, this is the premiere and most attended public transport event in the region.
This 2018 edition builds on the success of previous events and also comes at an exciting tie for public transport globally, but especially so for the MENA region. With continued growth, increased pressures on transport infrastructure, increased awareness on climate change, emergence of exciting technologies, and energized youth, the region has embarked on an impressive agenda for public transport. From autonomous technologies to transport network services to the introduction of public transport services in new markets so much is taking place in MENA. But perhaps where the region stands out most is how to best address social and cultural barriers to using public transport and build a culture of public transport among non-captive segments.
The 2018 theme of the MENA Transport Congress & Exhibition, ’pioneering for customer happiness’, recognizes the customer as the core of public transport service and incorporates happiness not only satisfaction.
